Build Your Own - Core

I've got one of each of the different core finishes, so here's a little primer in order of preference: 1. Aluminum: Super grippy texture, nice heft in the shorter style, but it can get a little too heavy on the longer style if you are fan of precision like me. Would only really recommend the long one if you got an aftermarket shifter or mods to tighten things up. 2. Delrin: Extremely high quality, practically insulated, you will never burn or freeze your hand gripping this one. As far as weight goes, easily the best for precision. Only downside is that even the nicest plastic feels, at the end of the day, like plastic. It's also the priciest, which is worth noting. 3. Foam: Very nice foam, feels plush and soft to the touch and it isn't too light either. Only real downside is it lacks the looks and presence of the other two materials. Worth considering if comfort and soft-touch surfaces are important to you. If you like the looks then you can't really go wrong with any of them.
