I’ve been using my two new Expats here in SoCal for about three weeks, and it’s been a reliable daily driver. The Dark Desert blends into the suburban/desert environment, while the OD shines in woodland parks and grassland. I buy Highland Tactical not just for durability, but because I like the tactical military style — the laser‑cut MOLLE webbing gives it that special forces vibe. The zipper placement makes it a little harder to load and extract my wallet, but I actually see that as a plus since it curbs the issue of pickpocketers. Even if it stands out in civilian settings, I don’t mind — it feels built for action.
