Smack in the face scent!

Tony Iommi Monkey Special opens with an intense blast of leather, woods, and musk that can feel a bit overwhelming at first. The opening was a miss for me, very much a smack in the face, but once it dries down, the fragrance becomes far more enjoyable. It settles into a rich mix of sweet caramel, musk, rum, light florals, and softened leather that’s bold. Projection and sillage are massive, with longevity easily pushing 10+ hours. This is absolutely not a blind buy and won’t be for everyone. It leans masculine, but confident unisex wearers can pull it off.

I hate to recommend this because I want it to be my signature scent. It's mine, all MINE! If heavy metal had a scent...This is it. That being said, when you purchase this you are not only getting a fantastic perfume, but an amazing package. The bottle is beautiful, but the way it is packaged is off the charts. A cool outer package? Yes. But beyond that, it comes in this amazing box which is designed to be used even after the perfume is done. Remove the liner, and it'd make a great jewellery box. Plus, it comes with a nice little brochure which includes a guitar pick. This is a display piece. This was a great purchase. Long live metal!

Great perfume, Not impressed by the libertine experience.

I love the perfume. I could have gotten it for a bit less money on other websites. I chose libertine for the samples. I didn't get a single sample I requested. The packaging is way over the top, and I believe a little out of sync with what is happening in the world vis a vis the environment... I gave it a 3 star rating for the whole libertine experience, not the perfume, which is 5 star.
