Awesome Ergonomics

I have a 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 but I didn’t own a Slim until now. Of all my Opinels, I like this one the best by far. No comparison. My new favorite. Fits my hand perfectly, the curves of the handle just melt into my hand. And it can be carried in the pocket very comfortably, unlike the bulky and clunky original design. Very sharp, very strong. It’s perfect for all the chores you do with a pocket knife. And of course, the good looks…very sleek like an exotic sports car. THIS is the version that should be in the museum of art!

Edge Needed Work

Compared to and purchased because of my excellent experience with the no. 10 slim, the edge had flaws which required honing out and the tip is quite blunt compared the needle at the business end of the no. 10. That aside , the size is perfect for back up to my edc. Customer service was top- notch and reasonable shipping rates made second-day gratification a no-brainer. It rides in my pocket right now and I used it not five minutes ago. I love the padouk handle.
