Dog (&I) prefer the old lumpy bed

Our lab has had many dog beds over her 9 years. Since she is getting older and has some arthritis, I purchased this one. They really aren't very attractive. Big, bulky and no fun colors or prints at all. I much prefer a strong duck cotton fabric than fake suede. And she has only been on it once since purchased. I think it doesn't feel very different to her than lying on the floor. On a positive note, putting the cushions in the covering seemed easier than many other beds I've had.

Size up

I bought the large sofa-style bed for my 65-lb dog who likes the bolsters. It's thick and supportive, but the width is quite shallow. Her legs are hanging off the bed when she lies on it, so I'd recommend sizing up, at least if you're getting the sofa-style bed. I reached out to Barker Beds to see about exchanging for an XL but haven't heard back yet.

Exceptional comfort and so easy to maintain

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Not only is the bed insanely supportive, but the cover is also super easy to zip off and toss in the wash. It holds up in the laundry, doesn't trap odors, and looks great in the living room. Our dog was instantly drawn to it and sleeps like a rock. Highly recommend to any pet parent!
