Vitamin C Oil tightens my 79 year old skin

This oil seems to tighten up the skin on my face enough to make my skin feel smoother. It has no annoying fragrance and is a simple post washing step. A few drops works wonders.

Doesn't seem to help melasma

I knew it would be a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. When products are advertised as helping "dark spots," the advertisements often don't specify what kind of dark spots. I wanted to see whether it would help my melasma. It was free as part of a promotion, so it was essentially risk-free. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed any difference in my melasma, although I haven't yet used the whole bottle. I've used it once a day, at night, since I received it. Although it appears to be fragrance-free, it has a scent. I was worried because I can be allergic to some ingredients added for their scent, but I haven't reacted to it, which is great. Scent is individual; I don't like the way this product smells, but as long as I'm not allergic to a product, scent is not a deal-breaker if the product works for me. It's very tacky, but since I put it on before bed, with moisturizer on top of it, the stickiness doesn't really bother me. If I find that this Vitamin C Serum helps by the time I finish the bottle, then I will definitely buy it again, but right now, it's wait and see.

Nice, not magical

This serum feels really nice on the skin - I have to remind myself to still use a moisturizer afterward because my skin feels supple after applying it. However, I don't notice any big difference in my skin overall, and that age spot is still there, darn it.
