A gentle, curl enhancing brush. It helps me detangle and stops so much hair loss in comparison to finger combing. Love it.

This brush is very flexible and also very gentle.. but.. I feel like the bristles are too short and it doesn't reach the scalp easily when my hair is wet so that I can detagle from the roots. If you have voluminous hair (esp if type 4!) go for something with harder, longer bristles.

Struggled to use with my problematic type 4 hair

Quick delivery, I have thick type 4 hair struggled to get through the tangles, however I think I need to give it more time and it probably involves more practice to successfully use it. For looser curl patterns would probably work better.
