My favourite benefits are the extended run time thanks to the V-mount battery, the additional weight making handheld shots more stable and ergonomic, and the flexibility for mounting accessories thanks to the cheese plates. As an added bonus your rig will appear more substantial to the untrained client. The build quality is high and tolerances are tight making the whole setup a snug and secure fit.
