Great Reel too heavy

This may be a follow up to my first review, as I think I reviewed this reel already a while back. I have this in the 3000 size, thinking I was going to use it surf fishing for surf perch, halibut, croaker etc. I've been using it for a while now and it's fabulous. My only complaint is that it's too heavy to be casting lures and carolina rigs for no more than hour if that. It would be a great inshore bait and weight or light off-shore bottom fishing.

Excellent Customer Service

I placed an order for a reel and had it within two days. I mistakenly ordered the wrong one for my husband. I emailed Kastking and was told to send back and they would send me the correct one. I was waiting on them to charge my credit card or call me for card info and they didn’t. It was only a few dollars difference but they just sent the new one very quickly. Just great customer service. Also, I’d like to mention, the packaging was great. My husband is going to make another purchase very soon.

Amateur fish guy

Seems like a well made reel, good price, runs smooth. Bought it to use on an 11’ surf rod for fishing in New Jersey. I won’t get to try it out for a few weeks yet.
