This flipper deploys easily and smoothly. Sorry, I just can't get a thumb stub to work for me, flippers are great. Plus, unlike an open assist, it is not going to potentially open in your pocket. The safety factor can be important. It feels good in the hand; however, the jimping can hang up on your pocket when pulling it out if you are not experienced. They engraved it for me as a special offer.

This pocket knife could be an everyday knife. The lightness and visual aesthetics are present. This knife is ergonomically pleasing in my hand just the right amount of serrations and thumbprint when pressing for kindling. Sadly the first thing that was brought to my attention was the gnarl. I thoroughly enjoy the laser-etched grip for a secure grip in my hand though that lacks an insufficient everyday carry option. Worrily I placed the knife within my pocket and retrieved it. The laser cut rips into your pants. The grip worked great on my ruck after a five-day camping trip. Though the grip does not work well in a pocket for an everyday-carry. The bronze pocket clip, which can be switched for a left-handed pull, is already fading after a month of use. If the laser cut was retracted for a pull-out-the-pocket cut- then I would insolubly purchase again.
