Even as a board certified pediatrician I felt lost trying to guide my baby's development until I found these books. The expert direction from the author (an SLP) took away all the guesswork. I now feel fully empowered to make playtime with my daughter fun and educational.

There are some words that I wish were changed because I don’t see why they’d be first words. I feel like other words could be more common. For example instead of “mow” have it be “play or clean” or something along those lines that would be used more often.

My 18 mo olds in church love imitation words. My grandson also can speak toddler gibberish but these words from the imitation book are clear and correct in context.
