I bought these unheard, after a ton of research. I needed something that would preform well in studio. The LF Vintage Hot Strat PUPs were suggested to me and when I read in their description "Vintage Hots have a warm, balanced midrange with lots of sparkle and clarity on the top, guaranteeing you’ll stand out in the mix", that was it. To my ears, that's very accurate and not just "marketing".

These are perfect for those looking for more vintage voiced pickups. These Fralins are warm, sparkly and bell like with the cleans and they play well with pedals. They feel open and are not very hot so playing into a rig with more volume and output feels more natural with these in my experience. Definitely keeping these for a long time.
