Yakuza Kiwami Standard Edition (Switch, PS4, Xbox)

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the 2006 PS2 crime drama beat 'em up RPG using mechanics introduced in Yakuza 0 on PS4. While this is not the best Yakuza game in the series, the remake majorly improves flaws and issues with the 2006 PS2 version as well as improving the graphics, making them comparable to the games on PS3 and the original release of Yakuza 0. The switch port runs at 30 fps instead of the other ports on PlayStation/Xbox/PC's 60 fps, and on original Switch hardware, it can drop to 20 or even 16 fps depending on what's happening in a fight. While patches have fixed some of the performance, it's still not great, and the dynamic resolution can drop to 500p, making visuals blurry in handheld. Thankfully, if played on a Switch 2, the game's resolution stays locked to 720p handheld and 1080p docked, and performance is near a perfect 30 fps with minor frame pacing. It's definitely worth buying if you want an affordable way to play the 1st Yakuza portably.
