Nice Valise but Always lopsided

I've been using this valise for years and I've always struggled with the three pockets getting in the way of properly centering the valise on my ruck frame. This whole time I've just thought it was me and how I packed it, but I it always sits longer on the bottom side of the valise. Recently, while looking for a single chest strap replacement, I looked back at the photos to see if maybe I could finally see what I was doing wrong, and noticed that it's also lopsided in the photos. I cannot believe that there hasn't been another review mentioning this or some kind of fix in a newer version. Does everyone just ignore this? Anyway, if you're like me, this will drive you nuts and maybe you should consider a different product.

Great peace of kit

Very well constructed, looking forward to heading out with it soon. The integrated pouches are a perfect spot to store bungees and cordage for setting up a shelter. I would give it five stars, but I need to get out in the woods with it first.

Does not last. Disappointing quality.

Pretty disappointed with the product. stitching quality is poor and the draw string for the valise opening broke on both sides with regular use. After the first side broke I started being really careful with the other and it still came apart. Shape of the material itself makes it a nightmare to pack evenly. I had to alter the draw string that compresses the valise in order for things to sit better inside the bag. The top flap is also too small - securing one side of the flap to the bag makes it difficult to position correctly and takes away from the compression capability of the bag. I've had no issue so far with the outer pockets other than losing most of the pocket space once the valise is packed. Will be looking for an alternative.
