Good product

Pimax Crystal Super is a good product compared to the competition, I had, however, higher expectations. It doesn't look as clear as in the youtube videos thought this is a significant improvement compared to my old HTC Vive pro set. I use the VR set for flight simulator 2024 and as much as I modified the settings there is some stuttering going on that makes me dizzy. The Vive Pro, even though is 6+ years old had the benefit of better tracking the headset without much stuttering using the receivers. Nevertheless, Pimax has a great resolution and the eye tracking is a great idea to take advantage of such better resolution. Also is worth to note that I acquired the bundle with the VR prescription lenses. As of not, 15 days after i got my set, I don't have any clue how to get them.

Very first impression.

This is my first VR headset, so I have nothing to compare but my 32 inches Acer Predator XB323QK monitor. Other parameters: GPU 4080, CPU: Core i7 13700KF, memory: 64GB. I use it only to play DCS. I still change parameters to find working combination. Also – I wait for prescription lenses. I thought DCS will not be playable without them but to my surprise – it’s doable. What I can tell right now: - Picture quality is not comparable with display. I mean – monitor is muuuuch better. Despite all pixels and connection to direct port. - It is difficult to explain it. I call it – ‘general impression’. I still remember first feeling when I saw flight simulator – I felt real headache. Now this impression is completely gone when I ‘fly’ using display. Looks like display already cannot deceive brains at all. And Pimax – its CAN. When I started doing fast maneuvers, I felt almost ‘real’ airsickness. So, in general – I like Pimax and I hope the lenses will make my impression even better.
