Flatwoven Washable Earthy Flora Area Rug - Shannon

I was terribly dissapointed when I received this rug. It really is more of a large mat than a rug. My experience with previous rugs is that there is a hard backing which is made of some kind of natural sisal or rope type of material into which the pattern and wool or synthetic is woven. This was not the case with this rug it was much thinner profile wise and the pattern was much fainter than the pictures suggest. The blue in this rug is quite a dark navy. I was just dissapointed and guess the fact that it is folded in the box when it arrived and the box was completely battered and ripped and bulging with the weight of the rug really put me off. I understand that rugs today are much thinner and more foldable so that they can be cheaper but I strongly suggest checking these rugs out in person before purchasing just so you receive what you expect. Size was perfect and pattern very nice.

Absolutely love this rug! Faded design excellent on distressed flooring, and no worries about coffee spills etc. It has felt like a long standing member of the family from the moment it arrived... Excellent website and service/delivery too! Many, many thanks to all of you
