Men's Opedix® Directional Compression Base Layer

Good, but not great

The leggings are extremely light, and I am hoping they will last more than a season, especially at this price point. I'm also concerned about being able to use the product for skiing, as they don't have a lot of warmth, so a second layer might be needed on cooler days. The compression around the knees and quads is good, but doesn't feel as firm as other products I use. Great for cooler days on walks. Ski season ended early, so I didn't get a chance to use it on the slopes.

Great Support

I have been a user of Opedix for 15 years....and this is my 2nd pair...my original pair have been very durable, warm and comfortable. I felt I needed more support and purchased the Directional Compression Base Layer recently. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 153 lbs. I have worn the new pair skiing 10 times so far this season. They offer great support. My only concern was that the waist band was extremely tight to the point of being uncomfortable in a sitting position. I took them to my tailor and had him put an elastic band removing the top 2 inches from the new Opedix. This did not interfere with performance and gave my 33 inch waist some breathing room. The support from the waist down gives me great confidence when skiing. The material is different from my first pair and maybe a little less warm but the tradeoff in support I feel is much improved over my previous pair.

I'm one of the original Opedix customers.
