I tend to buy Military Watches. This is my first German Watch. As I need to wear reading glasses, I am pleased I can read the dial without the need for glasses. Good looking dial, even if I do say. My only complaint [minor] is the supplied wristband is too short. So I have decided to buy a NATO watch band. Was struggling with the concept - German watch with Allied watch strap. And then the pfenning dropped - Germany is in NATO and we are all mates these days. Have selected a Reverse James Bond NATO with an air force grey as an alternate.

Fantastic Watch

My first ever watch from Laco, and it is fantastic. Fits my 18cm wrists very nicely, especially with the way the lugs curve down. And speaking of lugs, the strap attached to them is very nice. As one may expect, It's quite stiff at first, but it's very nice once broken in. I also love the rivets, which really add to the look. The watch is of very good build quality, has incredible lume, and runs within +/- 2 seconds per day for me. The automatic rotor is definitely the noisiest I've ever heard, but it's not an issue when you're not holding it up to your ear. I really like the Laco logo at the top of the dial. It's very simple, but elegant looking. Probably one of the nicest you'll find on a flieger. All in all, this watch is of incredible value. It may not have a Swiss movement, but that doesn't stop it from being a fantastic watch. Sapphire crystal, C3 Superluminova lume, great out of the box accuracy, a very sturdy feeling case, and a great strap. I have zero complaints and have been daily driving since I got it over a week ago. Very easy to recommend.
