Great Holsters

Worth every penny!

Great holster. Over the years I have purchased many Mitch Rosen holsters and belts and all have been top notch, including this one. Express line, full detail, lined, unlined, for a variety of handguns- none have been a disappointment. All are comfortable, quiet, draw smoothly, and carry the handgun well. I’ve yet to find a kydex holster that is better. Most of mine have been unlined Express holsters. The full detail line looks prettier, but both hold the gun just as secure. The leather is top notch in their holsters and finished very well. This one was a President Express for a Sig 1911 with a rail. I personally don’t find a huge comfort difference between this and the 5JR. Both are great. The holster I use the most is an Upper Limit for a Sig P365 that I have carried for years. Still carries as comfortably and securly since the first day, so I know this one will last just as long. I attached a photo of full detail 5JR for a Springfield SA-35 next to the President Express for the Sig 1911 so you can see the finish difference. Even though you don’t need it, I also recommend getting the Leather Lightning. I went many years without it and simply broke in the holster the old fashioned way by drawing and reholstering. Nothing wrong with that way, but after I tried the LL it is so much easier due to the precise fitting of the Mitch Rosen holsters.
