Good First Impression on the Blade Blank

I have not assembled this blade yet, so this review is based on first impressions only. The blade arrived well-packed, clean, and exactly as described. The shape and grind look good, the tang and holes appear clean, and it looks like a solid starting point for a handle build. I bought this as a knife-making project, so the real test will come after I fit the scales and pins and finish the handle. But as far as the blade blank itself goes, I am pleased with what I received. Good steel, useful design, no unnecessary flash, and exactly the kind of plain working blade I was looking for.
