With a high power engine, your stock engine mounts (commonly referred to as "motor mounts") have a hard time keeping the engine from moving around under power. Also, factory mounts can crack with as little as 60,000 miles on them. We recomm...

As good as it gets
This is now the second set of real MazdaSpeed engine mounts I have installed on a Miata. It is, without a doubt, transformative to the driving experience.
Compared to alternatives for reducing engine shake, these bushings are by far the best option if you don't want to significantly increase NVH. Polyurethane alternatives are very poor vibration dampers. The MazdaSpeed rubber is right in the sweet spot between being stiff enough to handle hard launches, power shifts, etc, and not being too stiff to the point where there is unnecessary NVH.
These pair perfectly with aftermarket engine braces (like from Jass Performance) and results in a near motionless setup while having only a marginal amount of additional NVH.

My old OEM rubber mounts were cracked in two so any mount replacement I’d imagine would of been an “upgrade”. That being said these new mounts didn’t add any noticeable NVH and are sporty enough to corner hard but soft enough to not turn your car into any more of a rattling can over bumps, these are totally fine for daily driving. With the suprisingly significant difference it made in handling and the added confidence I now have shifting into 3rd, I’m now ambitiously changing every bushing and mount I can in the car. If you go with these mounts I’d pair them with the IL motersport or the competition diff mounts as well so you have the ≈ 40% stiffer than stock rubber in front and the rear making for a more predictable ride imo.
