Saved me time and money

Remodeling from a fiberglass shower surround to tile with a Kerdi pre-sloped shower pan. I had ordered a Kerdi 2” ABS drain assembly. The P trap was set way too high in my concrete slab, and I had the straight ABS pipe 2” above the floor. Even if I cut the pipe the Kerdi drain was way too high, and I didn’t have enough vertical pipe to cut to make it fit. Slab wasn’t level so used self leveler to gain 3/8” of height, still not enough. While searching online for a solution I stumbled on the Flo FX drain solution. Perfectly shorter height! Used an internal pipe cutter to end up with 1” of straight pipe, and had the correct height. It’s less expensive and better built than the Kerdi drain solution. Good stuff!

As advertised very easy to use and is built sturdy! I would recommend this flofx drain to all DIY's....

I love these drain bodies. I especially like the temporary cover that comes in place of the drain grate.
