5 stars for a reason

This piece is everything I hoped it would be.I’ve loved the dark hooded character from many different pieces of music to video games and this depiction is AWESOME. Especially the blue mixed in just accents the dark tones so well. What I love is… it is up into interpretation. Is that mist in the background from an ocean in the distance? Is that a field? Rocks? Is he at the peak of a cliff, and if so…what is under the mist below.? This is up there for me, top 3 in the pieces I own from KA&D. Maybe even number 1.

Jamie and her work is always top-tier and you will never regret buying anything she sells. Especially this print. To summarize what I said on instagram about this piece: “It feels like solitude. But is the figure finally coming out on the other side of the darkness, and into the light (and out of solitude), or is the figure watching as the light goes out and the darkness is consuming everything, signifying their impending solitude and desolation? I hope its the former.” 15/10 as always; will definitely recommend.
