Install was not a 1 person job, most of the time was spent removing the front clip and the front fenders. Once that was done I strapped the doors to the car and removed the stock hinges. The vertical lift hinges matched exactly to the stock holes . Had to trim some inner metal on the fenders, and lengthen the wires. Here's a tip for you, if you remove the inner door panel , you in reality are removing the electrical connection to the door, so if you close the door, it will not open. Be sure to have the door panel on if the door is closed. I had to removes the wire harness on the inner panel and plug it into the door so I could open it. Fortunately I only did that on my first door, I learned from my mistake and didn't do that on the second door. Also, doors will not open as far as stock hinges, but it's enough to get in and out. Be sure to adjust to stop screw or the door hinge will hit the fender. Be sure to have a helper to lift the door and install the shock. I also removed the door and fender rubber inner trim, it was just in the way and didnt look good. My car never goes out in the rain anyway. Took a few days to complete, but it looks great. Really happy with the end result.
