I guess I've been unlucky.
Received a PCB with bad pins which wouldn't allow the niceview to seat or run. Was sent a replacement, which had the exact problem. Local repair shops said it is definite defect due to the way it's damaged inside the headers insulation.
Now both boards won't register on any computer. They went dead. No resetting, depleting battery, trying to flash fixes them. They just both stopped working while charging.
I think if cannonkeys is going to try to develop their own PCB and keyboards they need to do some serious work on quality control, reliability, and engineering.
And this is besides the other issues with the design that I won't mention, and the late shipments, and other quality errors (foam being improperly cut).
Credit where it's due, they tried to fix it, but this product was obviously not ready for release and needed a professional review.

Great high quality wireless ergo
To preface, I own a couple of split ergonomic keyboards, including a corne and the Altair-X from cannonkeys. The Altair-X is probably still my favorite feeling to use but this comes really close. To be fair, I’m using much nicer switches in in the Altair and still getting used to the layout differences between it and the link.
I ordered the Link Split Ergo because I wanted a wireless keyboard and that’s probably going to result in me using it a lot more than the Altair.
Everything was well packaged and arrived in working order. Minor complaints: needing to remove keycaps to get to the pcb and turn off the battery is very annoying. I wish there was an exposed switch to cut the power.
