You don’t need this cable as all you need is a USB C. It was a bit misleading when purchasing it. However it is a fast charging cable that works great with charging the speaker battery.

The charger is the fastest way to charge The Battery. It is also useful to charge other USB-C devices just as fast. It is my main source to charge all my USB-C devices.
