Our concerns regarding a quality issue when the crib arrived were quickly resolved when we contacted Newton. Angela was very helpful in addressing our concerns. We took photos and videos, which should be expected, and the situation was immediately resolved. We received the replacement within a week of contacting them. Returning the first crib was easy as all we had to do was place it in the original box on our front porch for Fed Ex to pick-up per Angela's instructions. Pick-up occurred the next day. While we were initially disappointed with the paint issues (we ordered white) where the side rails attach to the top horizonal rails, our concerns were completely and politely resolved. We are very pleased with the new crib, which is very sturdy. While a smaller profile in the thickness of the wood compared to cribs we considered at Crate and Barrell and other stores, the Newton crib is very sturdy and half the price of others we shopped for. Our daughter and son-in-law are pleased with the product and we can be a fussy regarding quality and safety. We also purchased the breatheable mattress - no review on it as the baby isn't here yet. However, it appears to be well made and you can see the "holes" in the cover fabric allowing the baby to breath if her face is buried in the mattress. All communications were over email. As members of an "older" generation, I initially wished I could speak with a live person. However, Newton's process was simple and efficient. Again, I can't say enough about the courtesy and speed provided by Angela in resolving our concerns.

Awesome crib

This crib is beautiful. The quality of the wood is very sturdy. Extremely easy to assemble.
