Husband loved there, took him some getting used to as there is a little drop down after the heel. As the picture shows, there not near as much padding as the heel. Reason this is a 4 instead of 5 star review is this is really only great for smooth services. If you step on a stick or a rock, you can feel everything. The foam is wonderful. It needs some sort of hard protective layer at the bottom of the foam/shoe so you don’t feel sticks and rocks and to protect the foam. If that was added, 5 star for sure. Husband sometimes has to get wide shoes, he though they were too tonight after first but after about a week he said they broke in and are perfect fit.

I consulted the OOFO web site for size. It indicated to use your normal shoe size. I chose the size 12 and found it small. I should have chosen 12 1/2 perhaps. Too bad it was a final sale.

So, I purchased my first pair of Oofos last year after seeing some amazing reviews about their comfort and shock absorbent. I go for long walks in. I was telling my guy about them and decided to gift him a pair. He's now (what I call) and Oofoodian. Lol
