Love the gloomy quality of the pallette

I’ve recently started getting into using more graphite in my art, mostly because of it lovely soft or bold grungy appearance while doing abstracts. When I saw that there were tinted graphite, coming out in a watercolor type format instead of graphite powder, that is loose and gets everywhere, or in the traditional pencil, I was excited to try it. I’ve been really enjoying the richness and creaminess of it after wetting down the pallet, and still getting used to how to work with it as it does dry quickly. It’s definitely less messy than the graphite powder and more versatile than the graphite pencils.
