It's a solidly built bag, comfortable to wear even stuffed full. I wish the capacity was greater, it just barely fits clothing and toiletries for a long weekend trip. The quality seems very high, though. I feel like this bag could last me a decade, at least.

Not bad, but I wouldn't pay full price.

This was a warranty, and frankly, that's why the rating is as high as it is. Apparently no longer made in the U.S. (at least, there's no tag announcing as much anymore), and extremely small with some very questionably designed pockets. Most of them are useless because they are so small or narrow. The main compartment itself is pretty shallow, and a lot of space is taken up by the lining. Overall, the construction feels a lot cheaper than the fifteen-year-old bag this replaced. I very much doubt this one will last that long. Also, the promotional pictures are very misleading. This bag is small, especially if you have a big frame (as I do, at 6' and over 200 lbs). It works for my purposes of carrying books and a laptop, especially considering I mostly drive these days. But frankly I wouldn't want to ride with it as much as I did with my old one. The flap offers some expansion, but then the contents are exposed, along with the tiny front pockets that are only sealed with magnets. Overall, it's fine as a general pack.
