Maple Bacon Flavored Cheese Curds

where is the flavor?

First off, arrived well packaged, appreciate that. Cheese curds DO pass the Squeak test. And are really squeaky, love that! But...um where is the flavor, besides being squeaky(and tested out same night it arrived, aka last night) it may as well been the S-burg brand Wi that's sold a walmart and everywhere else, same basic cheddar cheese curd taste, no bacon hint, no maple hint. Bad batch? a miss pack? Either way i paid 9 something for 6 oz of squeaky cheese that was short on flavor, and that isn't a good buy, least if I buy flavored curds, now had that been a regular bag no flavor, heck YEAH awesome and worth price. So, I'm mixed on it, and I had some again today, even tried the nuke it to see if that helped, and it was definitely room temp after sitting outside on my porch for 7 hrs while I was at work. i shall have to try again next payday and see if i get something with flavor.

Hmm, I guess I wanted/expected these to be a tad sweeter with maple flavor. They’re smokey and tad sour or tart tasting. The biggest disappointment is that I didn’t realize they have sunflower oil on em ☹️

I brought the package in 5 mins ago, about 5 minutes after delivery. The cheese packs were warm at delivery. Disappointed. Update: No longer disappointed. Read the info that came with order. Pit them inthe frig for 10 mins. Opened them up and they are fresh and squeeky! Very happy.
