Keeps On Rollin'. . .
Papa might have been a rolling stone, but I know he didn't have luggage like this. I am a veteran domestic and international traveler. I had to retire my Ducati Tumi carryon after 20 years. I didn't return to the brand as I know that a lifetime warranty is what I need. I have a larger Briggs and Riley piece that has served me well for the past two years. I figured that I should stick with the brand due to this positive experience. I wasn't wrong. My partner has used this case for a weekend trip and now I'm on an international journey. This suitcase has kept rolling when my larger ones get hung up. I understand physics, but the why is less important than the outcome. I need one less thing to worry about when pushing my luggage around. I have two other large pieces and I need a carry on that can keep up when held next to them. The case is also very easy to move through the terminal with. It was battle tested in the shuttle bus tango known as FRA recently. It went from plane, to bus, terminal, then another bus, and then the terminal again with ease. I had no problem fitting it into the overhead bin on my Brussels Airlines flight. Yes, it's technically too tall, but they weren't sizing everyone at the gate (non-full flight). Your experience might vary. The laptop pocket on the outside has been key. I like having my machine easily accessible. I'm looking forward to taking this piece along on my future journeys here and abroad, I'd say I will purchase again, but if it lasts another 20 years, I think my days of carryon luggage will be limited by then!
