D.O.T. German- Dull Black

I really like it! It's my first half shell, and probably will be my last. The biggest downside to it, is that if your head measures up to a 2XL sizing, this DOT approved helmet only maxes up to XL; however, if you call the folks over at Daytona, they will attempt to size it up to a 2XL for you before shipping. I am not sure how it would've fit if I didn't ask them to do that, but I'm sure it would've fit a little too snug. Of course, the more I wear it the more the lining will conform to my head shape, so maybe it'll be really close to 2XL!

It felt good, but i needed to exchange for a larger size. I had mistakenly thought that the Medium size for half shells was going to be the same as my C6 modular helmet size Medium; it is not! Go up a size for sure. Currently, at time of this review, I am waiting on the larger helmet exchange to complete.
