I bought this as a liner for a lambskin leather jacket to extend my wear into late Fall/early Spring in Colorado. The elasticized cuffs and smooth fabric (NOT fleece) on the chest made it perfect in this application. I got a medium which allows me to still wear a couple of layers underneath but doesn't interfere with the slim cut of the leather jacket. Not puffy at all. It is cut big enough that I probably could have gotten away with a small if I was only planning to wear thin shirts or layers underneath. My leather jacket also has a mock collar and this one is clearly visible behind it - maybe a small would have been better? It doesn't really bother me and I like the option of wearing a heavy sweater which pretty much gives me a full winter jacket for Colorado's usually dry weather.
