The straps loosen too easily

I love the fit and feel, and the size is really good, but the straps thats supposed to keep the bag in place keeps loosening so it hangs way lower than I’d like. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that, but it’s very unpractical to having to keep tightening them.
