Keego Blackout Motorized Skylight Cellular Shades

Love these skylight shades

We live in Tucson, AZ, USA, and bought 1 of these light-filtering, motorized skylight cellular shades to see if we liked it and if it helped cut down on the baking summer solar heat. Easy to assemble and install and program to the remote and definitely helped block heat. We then went ahead and bought 5 more. Keego reached out to us about the new order and another remote was programmed for us at the factory to control all five shades at once as well as individually. We then re-paired our original shade to the new remote (easy to find instructions online) and now all 6 shades can be controlled all at once, or singularly, with that single remote. We felt the price was reasonable for what we got, especially using discount codes. Definitely recommend!

Simple to install, want a way to evaluate shade color levels

Purchased this directly from Keego, they arrived in about 10 days in two packages. I appreciated the ability to assemble the system on the ground and not have to do it on top of a ladder, it went together easily, just followed the instructions. I would encourage them to figure out a way to have a paper template for drilling the mounting holes in the sheetrock: simultaneously holding the shade in place and marking the hole placement was challenging. Once installed though, it looks great! I wish that I had a way to evaluate on the website the level of darkening you got from different shades: I went with a light one, and I'm finding I would prefer it darker.

This is a well designed product with good build quality. Installation was easy and the shade looks great and works well. A definite improvement to my house.
