Keego Blackout Motorized Skylight Cellular Shades

Simple to install, want a way to evaluate shade color levels

Purchased this directly from Keego, they arrived in about 10 days in two packages. I appreciated the ability to assemble the system on the ground and not have to do it on top of a ladder, it went together easily, just followed the instructions. I would encourage them to figure out a way to have a paper template for drilling the mounting holes in the sheetrock: simultaneously holding the shade in place and marking the hole placement was challenging. Once installed though, it looks great! I wish that I had a way to evaluate on the website the level of darkening you got from different shades: I went with a light one, and I'm finding I would prefer it darker.

Room for improvement

Love the motorized skylight shade, however the solar unit for recharging the battery never shipped, so haven't been able to install this shade high above my stairwell.

This is a well designed product with good build quality. Installation was easy and the shade looks great and works well. A definite improvement to my house.
