Worth your time and money

My local dealership and auto shop wanted to charge me over $600 for the same parts and labor of installing these same filters in my truck. I immediately came to Doc's for the best bang for my buck. Had these ordered and installed for less than 1/6th the cost and a whole 20 minutes of my time. Soooo worth doing it yourself, and Doc's makes it easy with this filter kit. All products are built to the same (or better by the looks of them) quality as OEM.

Not sure what happened.

The seal on the oil filter blew out. I know I didn't under tighten it, and looking at the top of the filter and how it's concaved now, I think I may have over tightened it allowing the seal an access point to pop out. Quick point of reference, I'm an ASE Master tech, Diesel tech, Transmission tech and High Voltage tech at the GM dealership I work at. I don't entirely want to blame Doc's, I suppose it's possible I was light on how tight I put it or that I over torqued it and deformed the canister. Either way, I got a second oil change whether I wanted it or not.
