Halo Pear Cut CZ Ring in Sterling Silver

I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 for 2 reasons. #1 is that the ring only comes in full sizes. I’m a half size usually. So I had to go a half size up to ensure it would fit without getting stuck. So I wear a ring cozy with it and that’s just fine. #2….. The halo is made up of very large round stones that kind of over power the pear itself. When you look at the ring your eyes gravitate to the sparkliest part. Which happens to be the rounds in the halo. However, the center pear is set a little taller than the halo. So it’s still noticeable. I personally like that the ring is a little taller than your traditional pear where it’s set flat because it gives more light around the ring for more sparkle AND you can wear a regular not curved wedding band. It’s also less sweaty in summer on your finger not being pressed up against your finger. It’s very comfortable and the prongs are rounded at the tip. So nothing catches. If you have curly hair it can catch on the very tip at the point but doesn’t get stuck because it’s rounded off with no sharp or pointy edges. I also like the fact that it’s a shorter pear at around an almost 1:3 ratio. Works well for shorter, chunkier fingers so it doesn’t get in the way of bending your knuckles. However because it’s a shorter stubbier sine instead of a usually elongated pear shape you normally see, there is more of a bow tie at the rounded bottom of the center pear. That isn’t the fault of berricle and just the way a shorter pear shape is cut. They did do a great job at minimizing that as much as possible but if you don’t like more of a bow tie then go with a longer length pear shape instead. Which I noticed Berricle has. Or the only way to get no bow tie at all is to go with a round stone. It’s the best CZ available on the market online for the size, shape, and price. I’m always getting tons of compliments and people saying that it looks expensive. I have other berricle rings I purchased from their website directly and on Amazon. Easy to clean, sturdy, good craftsmanship, long lasting, and comfortable. I just wish Berricle would make ALL their rings in half sizes too.
