All-around decent watch
I'm not a watch guy. I don't collect them, and I'm not particularly savvy about them either. This is the third watch I've ever rocked. I used to wear a black bulky Armani Exchange that looked more like a weighted wrist strap. I had to start wearing a bracelet on the other wrist to balance out my silhouette. It wasn't a bad watch by any means. Just wasn't for me, and my day to day activities.
I got this one as a replacement, because it was smaller, slimmer, and just overall better matched my style, and frame. "But why buy this specific watch from this specific site?" I hear none of you ask, because you already know the answer: So I can go on a historical rant about it to anybody unfortunate enough to notice.
Since having it, I have lost none of the features I had before with my A|X and even more. Big fan of the audible chimes. Not only are they quirky in and of themselves, but also help me keep track of time a lot easier. Also, the backlighting on the dial has been very useful. It's definitely a lot more convenient for reading the time than my last watch. Now, instead of roughly estimating the time based on the position of the radium covered hands, I can tell exactly what time it is, and can even use the other functions in the dark.
My only complaint, and the only reason it's not five stars, is that I'm likely going to need to get a different bracelet. Because, despite properly adjusting the clasp, the watch still somewhat moves up and down my wrist. Not deal breaking, but kind of annoying.
Also, because the chime selection is binded to the same button as the mode selection, cycling through the various modes also cycles through the various chimes. Now you need to asjust the chime, as well as inputting the values into the desired mode. Which as you can imagine is a bit of an inconvenience. But hey, it's a budget watch. I'm not chasing perfection, I just wanted a watch that does all the things a watch is supposed to do. And for the price, this thing definitely delivers.
