So simple, so easy

After watching Rae's tutorial (3 times) using her new straight head brush with a pot of good quality waterproof eyeliner cream I had purchased, it seemed pretty straight forward. I wondered if it would be that easy. So I purchased Rae's brush, and pot of cream waterproof eyeliner and re watched the tutorial 3 more times. Surprise, yes it was an easy process! The secret was applying mascara to my lashes first. When my lashes were dry, I copied Rae's application process very slowly. Fantastic result! Thanks Rae, you are a star!

A Perfect Brush for Eye Lining

This is the best eye liner brush I have ever purchased. I’m 63 yo and I have purchased a few of ‘the very best’ eyeliner brushes over the years. For everyday makeup I use a neutral cream-to-powder shadow and then apply powdered shadow as eyeliner picking up shadow particles just on the tip of the brush. This brush is so good I get plenty of definition without needing to apply mascara. For more formal occasions I use it to apply powdered eyeliner over top of gel liner which gives me a crisp dark line. The soft brush has enough fibers to hold its form without feeling stiff - exactly what I want in a straight eyeliner brush. What Rae has created doesn’t even belong in a category with other brushes. Every aspect of these brushes has been researched, engineered, designed and manufactured. Just reading about how she sourced the different types of fibers from traditional Japanese brush makers is amazing.

I don’t quite love it, yet.

This brush is quite hard, and I wasn’t expecting that. But given its intended use the density makes sense. I haven’t quite mastered it yet, as the density is a little irritating on my eyelash. Some additional videos or tips on this product would be helpful. When I get it right it definitely gets in super close to the lash and enhances my eye, so I’ll continue to use it. I have found angling it and pushing works best, but it’s still hard to use it across the whole eyelash. I’m giving it a 3 for the reasons above, happy to adjust that review rating when/if I master it. Or you can supply a few more tips on use.
