Helps a lot with rolling over carpet but can still be hard to roll if the wheels have been in the same place for a while. Did crack through my IKEA floor mat but that's on IKEA.

Perfect for wood floors. You don't need to worry about the casters marring your floor.

They roll quietly and don't leave marks on our wood flooring. They do, however, slightly increase the chair's minimum height. Definitely an excellent option.
