Once broken in these are extremely comfortable, and fit my feet well. My first product from born primitive, if they hold up, I will for sure be a repeat customer. They breath well, and feel great

Better than Salomon’s but….

Great boots like them better than Salomon’s. It’s like they took a pair of Salomon and made upgrades and improvements Salomon hasn’t done…. but forgot about the laces. I have been wearing for about a month and a half put them on this morning pulled the laces and POP! Laces broke. I’d give them 5 stars otherwise but now I need to find new laces, probably get Salomon laces and put the BP hardware on them.

Don’t Judge a Book By The Cover

Purchased the Patriot 1 to replace an older pair of Salomons. I first went with the recommendation to get one size larger but thought the 11s were a bit big when I got them, but BP made a very quick exchange for a 10.5 which I found much too short, but the overall comfort in the rest of the shoe was good, so I went back to trying the 11. Plenty of room in the toe box but at first felt a little big overall. They are also a bit heavier and initially stiffer than the Salomons right out of the box. I have now worn them for three weeks, and the initial flatness of the insole has given way to a more individualized fit and they are breaking in nicely. Overall very satisfied with the comfort and how they are breaking in, and I should have stuck with the original size 11, half size up from what I usually wear. The more I wear them, the more I like them, and the BP customer service has been awesome. Definitely a great option to the Salomons I have been wearing for years.
