I had done one of these paintings before with both my 87 year old mom and my 25 year old daughter - we had a blast and the directions were clear, the instructor fun and engaging. I thought this would make a fun experience for my husband and i as we painted a dyptich together. We enjoyed the process, but the instructor NEVER mentioned that we were meant to put our canvases together and paint each side separately so consequently, we ended up each painting our own separate painting. We still had fun - but it wasn't until halfway through the video that we were doing it "all wrong". Rather than having 2 canvases that made a single image - we ended up with two separate canvases each with our own paintings. Not sure where we went wrong.

A nice way to spend a snowy day painting. I am not an artist at all but impressed how easy it is to do.
