Haro 8 spline loose ball 19mm spindle

Useful repair part

I replaced a twisted spindle on my son's '08 SE WIldman with one of these from Haro. The design wasn't exactly the same as what SE provided but I think the Haro part works better. Hard to show what I mean without pictures, but the SE part demanded removal of the BB spindle before accessing the chainring, and this one puts the ring on the outside, more like what one would find on newer 3 piece cranks. I ended up having to get a different chainring to get everything spaced just exactly, but that's no fault of this part. Bike is back in service and arguably better than it was before. It's a win to me.
