I ordered the 5ml and the boxed full version, both were great. The retail bottle was about 4 years old according to the batch number but came pristine in the plastic wrap and undented box. I love this smell, it's like candied orange and spices, very warm and festive for colder weather. It does dissipate quickly but in my experience the more concentrated version (elixir des merveilles) is too much, so would rather aim lower.

I'm so sick of the smelling like your grandmother floral perfumes for women this is such an unexpected delight! It's simply goes up up. The only downside to this is that it dissipates very very quickly. I will order a full size of a more substantial perfume version of this. This is very sophisticated but wonderful for daytime and very different. A winner
