This tutorial by Craig Nelson is excellent. He simplifies the process of painting people using the effects of light and shadow. He certainly made it far less daunting for me , and when I look at photos of people now, those that would be good subjects for a painting are so much more apparent. This tutorial is a very good value given the price.
