La Sportiva TX4 Evo ST

This is the 2nd pair I've bought, which should tell you something! And the reason I've bought them is not because the first pair have worn out - this pair is for 'smart casual' use until the first pair do wear out! Quite a roomy fit, but also quite neat - I don't know how they do that. Not particularly waterproof - this model doesn't have a Goretex membrane - but that does mean they dry more quickly if you do find yourself in the wet. Above all, they're comfortable for substantial all-day treks.

Shaped like your feet

Much more comfortable than my previous approach shoes, they are more foot shaped!
