Lip and Cheek

Love these stacks, but disappointed with the lip & cheek formula.

I’ve been using Subtl Beauty Stacks for a while now, and they’re truly my favorite everyday makeup. My stack is both my daily routine and my travel makeup because it’s so convenient, compact, and easy to use. I’ve recommended it to others and have never had any issues until recently. I took my stack with me on a trip to Puerto Rico for my 40th birthday, and my Lip & Cheek shade (Mauve in the Maldives) had completely melted and separated. Oddly enough, every other product in my stack, including my cream highlighter, was perfectly intact. The stack wasn’t left sitting out in the sun or in excessive heat, it only experienced normal travel, including the airplane and short car rides to and from our destinations. I was really disappointed because I genuinely love this brand and have always had a great experience with it. I’m hoping this was just a one off issue or a batch problem, because I’d hate to stop using a product that has become such a staple in my routine. I still highly recommend Subtl Beauty overall, but I do hope the Lip & Cheek formula can be improved for travel durability.

Amazing color, not easy to apply

I have a couple different computers of this product, (well, 3 actually but only two pictured because my stak was getting too big lol so it's taking a time out )and the colors are simply beautiful on my skin and lips. The pigment is just right; I only use a little and the payoff is amazing. My only issue is that it's not very blendable. I have to be very quick when applying, which I guess is the point, but I'd s love it to be just a little easier to blend. Again, these colors all look amazing and I believe you could spin a random color wheel if it existed and end up with one that would perfectly match your color story. So incredibly versatile and lovely.

Stays on all day.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the color stayed on both my lips and my cheeks throughout my workday. I thought that it would melt off or be able to be wiped off really easily. If I touched my face and it did not. This is high-quality stuff.
