Tummy Shield® - The only crash-tested pregnancy seatbelt

This is a great product, whilst comfortable overall my old legs feel a bit cut off at the front of the seat. The belt arrangement is really comfortable taking the belt off my stoma. I would definitely recommend it for any pregnant mum or someone with a stoma .

I'm not pregnant but I have a stoma and have been struggling with seat belts for years. I am so happy with the Tummy belt system, it fits beautifully and is really comfortable. My only problem was fitting the belt around the seat. Getting it tight enough was very difficult with the existing belt system. I recommend an easier tightening system.

After doing quite a bit of research into safety devices for Mum and baby in the car, the Tummy Shield is the obvious choice - crash tested and ADR approved (there was no way we would use something not ADR approved...I imagine there could be big insurance implications should something happen and unapproved devices were being used in the car). Customer service is outstanding, we had a little issue with the accompanying bag but that was rectified immediately and a new bag sent out (plus a little freebie, a nice touch). Just a heads-up, given the different types of car seats the Tummy Shield might not sit entirely centered and may be a little offset...particularly if the bottom part of the car seat curves up, like our Tesla Model Y (see attached photo). This is not a problem, it makes no comfort difference and the Tummy Shield still works exactly as it should. Highly recommended. We ended-up buying the Tummy Shield, rather than hiring, as I worked out it was more cost effective for the length of time we would be using it, both pre and post natal.
