I'm ready for the regency ball!
I loved this pattern. It was easy to follow, especially with the instructions on the website. I used the original waist line, which was perfect in the dress but a bit short on me on the spencer. I didn't have to make many adjustments to the pattern itself, only to lengthen the closure at the front, and probably should haver gone up one size. I look forward to making more dresses out of this!

Excellent pattern!
I loved the design of the pattern, and I loved how the sleeves turned out! I did have trouble following the instructions in the later steps for the dress but overall I'm very happy! I was also able to make the entire dress 24 hours before attending a Regency ball as an above-beginner sewer!

Good pattern
I love the pattern, everything went together and lined up perfectly. But as many people mention, we had to lengthen the bodice. My biggest complaint is that the written instructions were hard to follow. I actually found a youtube video of someone making the dress and followed along with them instead of using the written instructions. And I know it's a historical pattern, but I'd love the addition of modern sewing instructions for people who still want to use a machine to sew the dress. For a relatively simple dress, I found the instructions confusing, but the pattern was very easy to work with, once I knew what to do.
